Rev. Robert J. Kraig, Pastor

Fr. Bob has been a priest for 40 years and has served in three other parishes before coming to St. John Neumann.  From 1972-75 he was at Holy Redeemer in Collinwood and then at St. Felicitas from 1975-82.  In 1982 he served on the pastoral team at St. Monica’s in Garfield Hts. and then came to St. John Neumann in January of 1990 as pastor.  He is a native of Cleveland and grew up on the southeast side of Cleveland in Garfield Hts.  Although he served at St. Monica’s in Garfield Hts., his formative years were at Holy Name Grade School and High School as well as Holy Name Parish.  

Rev. Denis Kristancic

Father Dennis was appointed as Parochial Vicar effective August 15, 2011 replacing Fr. Russ Rauscher.  He will soon be leaving our parish in June 2015 after years of unselfish service to St. John's

Sr. Pat Sylvester, SND

Sister Pat, second youngest of four, grew up on Cleveland's east side near what was then the St. Joseph Christian Life Center.  She and her family moved to Willowick in the early sixties when the new Rout 2 was built, and attended St. Mary Magdalene Parish.   In 1963, she entered the Sisters of Notre Dame and taught for 16 yrs. She received her Master’s Degree in Religious Education in 1978 from Thomas Aquinas University in Rome.

Deacon Ken Piechowski

Deacon Ken was ordained to the Diaconate for the Diocese of Cleveland by Bishop Anthony Pilla on June 6, 1981.  His previous assignments were twice at St. Hyacinth Parish in Cleveland.  The second time he served as the parish administrator until the parish closed in 2009.  He also served for 10 years at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist and as Master of Ceremonies for Bishop  Pilla for 15 years.  In addition, Deacon Ken was the Director of the Diaconate for the Diocese of Cleveland for 22 years.  He also served as President of the National Association of Diaconate Directors.He holds a bachelor's degreee in Religious Studies from John Carroll University and a Master's degree in Theology from St. Mary's Seminary and Graduate School of Theology. He was assigned to St. John Neumann Parish by Bishop Lennon in 2009, where he is involved in Adult Religious Education, Ministry to the divorced and separated, Liturgy training and preparation, marriage preparatin and enrichment, sick visitation and baptismal preparation.  Deacon Ken also serves as the business manager for the parish.  He has been married to his wife, Linda for nearly 45 years.  They have five grown children and seven grandchildren.  Ken enjoys teaching, travel and golf.

Sandy Zorn

Sandy Zorn, Pastoral Associate, is a native of Ohio, born and raised in Massillon (football country) where she met her husband Bill in high school.  They have been married 38 years and have 3 children and 2 grandchildren.  Their daughter Michelle, her husband Steve and their daughter Megan live in Toledo.  Their son Bill Jr., his wife Sarai and their son Billy III live in Medina, and their youngest daughter Shannon lives in California.  Shannon will be married at St. John Neumann in September to Len Hyde who is also from California.   Sandy’s Mom Bette lives in Massillon and her father Al is deceased (1991).  She has a sister in Scottsdale, AZ and a brother in Columbus, Ohio.

Eric McCarter

Eric McCarter received his undergraduate degree in sport management from Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, Ohio.  He served this past year as the Director of Youth Ministry and seventh grade Religion Teacher at St. Joseph in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  Eric is originally from Wooster Ohio.  Eric is a big sports fan and specially a Cleveland sports fan. Growing up Eric has always been involved with his faith and even into college as well as after graduating college.

Ann Marie Ong

Ann Marie Ong effective May 2015 has taken on the responsibility Coordinator of Religious Education working with the PSR and EDGE Programs.  Prior to beginning her work at SJN, she volunteered in many capacities at the parish.  She coordinated Moms and More for eight years, and she also initiated the Thanksgiving Dinner Drive.  She was catechist for several years, helping to prepare the students for First Communion and Reconciliation.  Before moving to Strongsville and becoming a stay at home mother, she was the Director of Career Services and Academic Support at Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia. Ann Marie resides in Strongsville with her husband, Paul and their four children, Maria, Matthew, Elizabeth and Christina.

Fr. Ed Holland

Edward T. Holland grew up in Lakewood, Ohio, where he attended Saint James Grade School (1-8), Saint Edward High School (9) and Lakewood High School (10-11). Not being a big fan of high school, he graduated a year early and attended The Ohio State University to major in biological sciences and to play volleyball. (That was when he weighed only 150 pounds and had a 36” vertical jump). Having felt called to the priesthood since 5th grade, he then entered the seminary for the Diocese of Cleveland.  Ordained May 31, 1997, Father has served as parochial vicar at Saint Albert the Great (North Royalton), Saint Jude (Elyria), Holy Family (Parma), Saint Bartholomew (Middleburg Heights), Saint Gregory the Great (South Euclid) and Holy Family (Stow).
