Edward T. Holland grew up in Lakewood, Ohio, where he attended Saint James Grade School (1-8), Saint Edward High School (9) and Lakewood High School (10-11). Not being a big fan of high school, he graduated a year early and attended The Ohio State University to major in biological sciences and to play volleyball. (That was when he weighed only 150 pounds and had a 36” vertical jump).
Having felt called to the priesthood since 5th grade, he then entered the seminary for the Diocese of Cleveland. Ordained May 31, 1997, Father has served as parochial vicar at Saint Albert the Great (North Royalton), Saint Jude (Elyria), Holy Family (Parma), Saint Bartholomew (Middleburg Heights), Saint Gregory the Great (South Euclid) and Holy Family (Stow).
