A parish enthronement is a devotion of a parish to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The purpose is to honor Jesus as King, linking both the home and the church. After the enthronement of the parish, we are to go home and enthrone our homes, as well!
On Sunday, June 14, Saint John Neumann will participate in a parish enthronement to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Ultimately, the enthronement is a devotion to Jesus as King. By honoring Him, we aim to link our parish and homes.
Starting this weekend, Mother’s Day weekend, we will begin praying a specific prayer pertaining to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Prayer cards will be passed out before/after each of the Masses.
Please attend Mass this weekend and grab a prayer card to pray with your household, and then after the enthronement on June 14, you will receive a kit to enthrone your own home.
This process is a very holy commitment to the grace and love of Christ, noting the Sacred Heart.
